i. BASICS.
This is a selective account! Meaning that I will only roleplay with mutuals (people who follow me and whom I also follow). If you’re not one of my mutuals, don’t pull me into in-character interactions right off the bat. We need to get to know each other first as muns (writers), no?I don’t intend to ship my Muzan with anybody, and I will not be writing smut scenes at all. Besides, romance and such do not have a room in Muzan's mind.ii. TRIGGERS.
Blood & gore scenes in writing don’t really trigger me. What triggers me however is the IMAGES of those scenes (that’s why I hate horror movies but love horror novels). But if writing bloody & gory scenes triggers you, rest assured! I will start my roleplay thread with a trigger warning.Mutual comfort is a must for the roleplay to be enjoyable by both parties! If you have any trigger whatsoever, please do let me know in advance!iii. FOLLOWING / UNFOLLOWING.
I will follow you when your account / blog is clean and organized. I want to be able to access your rules and your muse(s) info. (Wishlist is optional) If they're unavailable, then I wouldn't know how to approach you. I always make sure to read the rules and muse pages before deciding whether I would interact or not! This way, we can avoid misunderstandings and unnecessary conflicts.I will unfollow you if you have untagged triggers (if it happens more than once), if you are a hostile writer who always looks for trouble and stirs drama out of nowhere for the sake of attention and misleading sympathy, and if you pressure me to write a Muzan ship with you. I don't ship Muzan with anybody. While I do like Kokuzan platonically, I believe that romance and such aren't for them. So, if you force me to write a ship with you, unfollowing is the lowest I can do. However, if the forced ship is problematic (cough cough Muzan x Tanjiro / Nezuko) or one that makes absolutely no sense at all (ahem Muzan x Yoriichi), then I'll give you a hard block.iv. GENERAL
* Do not godmod. You control your muse, I control mine.
* I don't intend to write any fight scenes. This Muzan is a pacifist who dislikes unnecessary violence, but he won't hesitate to use his powers (same as the ones in canon) when the situation calls for it.
* My average is one paragraph, but it might be longer or shorter depending on the flow of the story! Yes, Roleplay IS a story, and we are the co-writers! You can write as long/short as you are comfortable with, but you NEED to give me at least ONE thing to work with, otherwise I will eventually lose interest and drop the thread.More rules will be added depending on the situation!

* The beginning is similar. It's the same illness.
* However, I'm deviating from canon here. In this alternate timeline, Muzan is the opposite of his cold-hearted canon counterpart, and he even develops a respectful relationship with his doctor.Muzan's demon transformation
* Muzan transforms into a demon earlier than in canon.
* The doctor hands Muzan a satchel containing blue spider lilies, and was about to tell him about their location before he died. (Not because of Muzan this time! The reason for his death is in the long version!)
* Muzan was tempted to consume the doctor's flesh and blood because of his transformation, but he gradually overcame such cravings due to his strong willpower.First Accusation
* Neighbors barged into the place and accused Muzan of killing the doctor and called him a monster.
*They even pulled a Sanemi (remember the Sanemi and Nezuko scene in the Hashira Meeting Arc in Season 1??)
* Despite the temptation, Muzan's humanity was fighting back full force.
* Muzan backed away to the veranda, desperate to flee. He didn't want to lay the smallest harm on any of them. At that moment, the sun came out and burned Muzan's back. (Yeah that's going to leave permanent marks, just like Yoriichi's slashes in canon) As a last resort, Muzan exploded his body to escape the scene.Quest: Find the Blue Spider Lily!
* Muzan was hiding from the sunlight and regenerating in a hot spring.
* He discovered that he was unable to feel the temperature of the water.
* He prayed for his doctor's soul, and remembered the satchel he had offered him before dying, realizing it contained the blue spider lily, the key to immunity from sunlight.
* He felt bad about his missed opportunities. (Mans forgot the blue spider lilies before getting the hell out of that place)A murder before Muzan's eyes
* A couple (the owners of the springs) appeared out of a building nearby.
* The husband assumed his wife cheated on him and claimed she was cursed by an evil court lady spirit.
* When the woman attempted to defend herself, her husband pushed her into the scalding hot springs.
* Muzan witnessed the murder and rose with an angry expression, giving the husband a "How dare you" look.Non-sensical Proclamation
* The man was frightened, and he fled to spreading rumors about a demon in the hot springs, urging them to flee to Tenjin's temple for purification.
* Muzan couldn't buy any of that. Purification? He's innocent, and the people who bathed in the springs are safe from harm.Muzan's Quest
* The people fled from the province, evacuating into the temple.
* Muzan waited in the building until night, wearing one of the man's clothing since he had none. (He didn't know that he could regenerate his clothes)
* For many many years, Muzan travelled across the land each night, searching for the blue spider lily to achieve his goal of immunity from sunlight.Muzan's First Demon
* About a week later, Muzan encountered an injured crow near death, and decided to use it as an experiment.
* He infused the crow with his demonic blood, curing the bird and growing him to a larger size.
* The demon crow, now named Katsuryoku (which means vitality), was carrying a letter that Muzan decided to read later.
* Katsuryoku caused a disturbance at a festival by flying above the crowd and approaching a lost child.
* A misunderstanding arised, but Muzan manages to clear it and is invited by the child's eccentric parents for dinner.
* Muzan took this opportunity to test if demons can consume human food.Hospitable Family
* Muzan tried to eat a meal offered by the hosts but felt nauseous and politely excused himself.
* He telepathically asked Katsuryoku to distract the family, which the crow did by squawking loudly and performing comical movements.
* Muzan praised Katsuryoku for listening to his command and executing it perfectly.
* He reflected on the fact that he and his future progeny will never be able to savor human meals again.
* He accepted the couple's invitation to stay overnight with plans to leave discreetly.The letter
In the spare room Muzan stayed in, he decided to read the letter. A window opening to the full moon was just beside his futon. The letter says,Lord Muzan,
We, the men who falsely accused you of murdering your doctor, wish to express our sincerest apologies. Your self-restraint is truly remarkable. Although we tempted you with the sight and smell of our human blood, you went against the odds and chose not to lay the smallest harm. We confess that the doctor's demise, as well as our outburst, were all planned beforehand. The doctor revealed to us while you were resting that ridding you of your humanity in a physical sense was the only way for you to evade the threat of dying before the age of 20. He left behind a satchel containing the last ingredient needed for your full treatment; blue spider lilies. Unfortunately, that very ingredient withered the following day, and only the doctor knew their field location.... We humbly invite you to return to the mansion, where we will willingly serve under your leadership and assist you in finding what you seek. Should you refuse, please do visit your remaining relatives at the Ubuyashiki estate. They will gladly extend their hospitality and support.Muzan's departure
* Muzan ultimately decided to leave quietly in the night towards his cousins, the Ubuyashiki family.
* Before doing so, he prepared two letters: One of gratitude to his hosts and apology for any inconvenience he and his crow had caused, and another to his crow for him to deliver to the group of men; instructing them firmly to search for the blue spider lilies. They are to report directly to him only if they successfully locate and acquire the rare plants..From then on...
The Demon Slayer Corps are established, but for a COMPLETELY different purpose from the one in canon.
* In this alternate reality, Muzan HIMSELF directly sparked the idea of forming such an organization to the head of the Ubuyashiki estate of his time, telling him to prepare himself (the Ubuyashiki in this alternate reality don't have the deadly curse they suffer from in in canon) and his swordsmen to eradicate any rogue demon who might emerge out of his (Muzan's) progeny as time goes on.
* They'd basically be like the police.* Thanks to his experience with his demon crow, Muzan started his journey as a Traveling Demon Doctor, turning humans on the brink of death, and ones suffering from incurable diseases like himself before, into demons to grant them vitality and preserve their lives.* In exchange for such privileges, his demon progeny are required to live in harmony with humans. Should they fail to comply, either by seeking trouble, or committing heinous acts like slaughter, then Muzan and the Demon Slayer Corps (as well as his own Kizuki later on in the Edo period) will intervene.* In addition, Muzan Kibutsuji changed his name into Tsukihiko Toshikuni, and added a second rule... Any demon who calls him by his original name will be automatically reverted back to their miserable state.
